VULNERABILITY SUMMARY
A potential vulnerability has been identified with HP OpenView Internet
Servicesrunning Probe Builder. The vulnerability could be exploited
remotely to create aDenial of Service (DoS). A successful exploit could
cause the system running HPOpenView Internet Services to crash.

iDefenseVCP for reporting this vulnerability to security-alert@hp.com.

Probe Builder for HP OpenView Internet Services is a product of European
PerformanceSystems Ltd. It had been supplied with HP OpenView Internet
Services.

RESOLUTION

European Performance Systems Ltd. has provided a patch to resolve the
vulnerability.
